Challenge --
Global Distance Learning
A global merger and acquisition firm wanted to improve the instructor-led continuing education program for associates as well as reduce costs associated with the process. Furthermore, not all associates were available for the scheduled programs as they are in offices around the world. About this same time they were informed their industry was instituting mandatory continuing education certification. They purchased a hardware/software “solution” from a major network equipment company, believing this would solve their problems.

CE Interactive Content:
Originally Nareka was asked to evaluate the functionality of the hardware/software based learning application purchased from a network equipment manufacturer. After thorough testing we determined that not only was the quality of the stream inadequate but the program lacked true interactivity. The vendor reluctantly admitted their application did not work as advertised and refunded our client's money. The client then asked us to design and implement more than 60 distant learning modules similar to those we created for other clients.
A project of this magnitude required us to build a dynamic project portal which would track the progress of each portion of the distance learning modules as they were built. Subject matter experts and graphic artists submitted their respective content via this site. At a glance the client, project managers, graphic designers, and programmers could view status of the project(s) on a master summary page. The site also notified designers and programmers via email when it was time for them to perform their function of the process.
